Magic Leap’s Workshop app uses remote meeting avatars combining keyframed poses with real-time eye, head, and hand tracking. Visemes and corrective shapes were sculpted while implementing custom behavior rules and joint limits to ensure natural movement.
A few of a series of best practices instructional videos. Both female and male characters were rigged and keyframed. The female shirt needed to be redesigned and sculpted.

Bodies are fully keyframed. For the faces, the animators needed to refine the motion capture so the correct FACS shapes were focused and made sense. Mouth shapes during dialog needed a lot of adjustment.
Rendered in Unreal, Mica directs the player through a specific sequence: sitting at a table, hanging a picture frame, and reading an envelope. Mica guides the player, rather than the player directing her. Fully keyframed character with procedural eye gaze and head rotation based on the user’s location.
This experience mirrors the Sundance version until Mica and the user pick up totems to collaborate on a work of art. Interestingly, demo analysis showed that participants frequently mirrored Mica's behavior, such as smiling back at her.
A fully keyframed short animated film that I helped a friend make from home. Most of my dialog shots were at the end.
First Animation Supervisor roll and feature film project. Modeled, textured, rigged and animated the jellyfish. Supervised 4 other animators. These 2 shots were done completely by myself.
Fully keyframed film. Worked closely with the snake rigger to get the controls required for the sequence. The last shot with the robot taking form required hundreds of individually animated pieces.
Fully choreographed and keyframed the sequence of 2 people falling and fighting over a rod.
Lots of rotomation on this movie. Precise frame by frame match moving was required.
Spider-Man, Green Goblin, and Doctor Octopus were fully keyframed. Animation required camera constraints to match real-life background plates, including a live-action Mary Jane being carried by Doctor Octopus.
